Uzbekistan Airways performed its inaugural direct flight between Tashkent and the Black Sea resort city of Batumi on Saturday, the Tourism Department of the Adjara region states.
The airline will carry passengers on regular flights from Tashkent to Batumi twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
It’s worth mentioning that Uzbekistan Airways also operates direct flights between the capitals of Georgia and Uzbekistan 3 times a week.
