Lebanon has been added to the list of Georgian honey export markets. The first exports of the natural honey from Georgia to this Asian country took place in May, export volumes reached $51 thousand ranking Lebanon the second among the honey export markets.
In total, honey worth $ 284 thousand was exported from Georgia in January-May 2023 that is 17% less compared to the same period of 2022.
France is the leader among the markets accounting for 40% of Georgian honey exports.
