According to Gvantsa Grigalashvili, head of the Tbilisi office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the import of Polish products into Georgia has seen rapid growth in recent years.

In Gvantsa Grigalashvili’s words, import volumes soared by an average of 24% in 2024.

«Georgian consumers are gradually convinced of the reliability and quality of Polish products. Apart from that, Poland has a great experience in the field of energy efficiency, interest in it is growing - companies are looking to transfer technologies to Georgia. Starting transportation to Georgia, the Polish companies focus on organizing the logistics chain properly",» Gvantsa Grigalashvili notes.

The head of the Tbilisi office also spoke about «Days of Poland 2025» and noted that the event will last two weeks.

«The main goal of Polish Days is to introduce consumers to Polish brands. In particular, high-quality European products at competitive prices. During these two weeks, we offer various activities to consumers jointly with our partner retailers. «Days of Poland» are marked on the stalls, where customers can take advantage of discounts. Almost all trade networks offer discounts from 20 to 50%.

The Polish products in Georgia are most growing in the food sector, namely dairy products, meat products, sweets. The second sector is cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, for example medicines, decorative cosmetics, personal care products. The third sector - construction - building materials are widely represented, a furniture sector with children’s goods, in short, the list is quite diverse», - Gvantsa Grigalashvili stresses.
