The Union of Oil Products Importers, the imports of oil bitumen and liquefied gases increased in January 2023.

According to the Union of Oil Products Importers, in January-April 2023, 30,6 thousand tons of petroleum bitumen were imported that is 15 thousand tons or 96,1% more than in the same period of 2022 (15,6 thousand tons).

In four months oil bitumen in the largest volume - 14,8 thousand tons was imported from Russia that is 48,4% of all imports, followed by Iraq - 7,9 thousand tons (25,8%); Turkey - 6,7 housand tons (21,9%); Azerbaijan — 1.2 thousand tons (3,9%).

As for the imports of liquefied gases, in January-April 2023, imports of liquefied gas stood at 14,48 thousand tons that is 4,97 thousand tons or 52,3% more than in the same period of last year (9,51 thousand tons).

In four months of the current year, 99,7% (14,44 thousand tons) of liquefied gas (LPG) imports came from the Russian Federation.
