A multi-functional building, including a car showroom, is set to be built on the former United National Movement office plot on Kakheti Highway in Tbilisi.

According to the architectural service's website, the construction of the car center and office spaces on the 4,000 sq. m site is expected to be completed in approximately 3 years.

"A three-story office building is located on the site. At the owner's request, a reconstruction (expansion) of the building is planned, along with a change in its functional purpose to a multifunctional complex. This complex will house a car center/showroom with office spaces (65% commercial and 35% office, with functional distribution). The building's structure is a monolithic reinforced concrete frame-braced system, with the foundation laid on a reinforced concrete slab. "The new building section will also have three floors above ground and one below ground," the project's explanatory note says.

As a reminder, the United National Movement sold its office on Kakheti Highway in March of last year. The purchaser is "EV Distribution" LLC, a company founded in February 2024. Notably, this company is headed by Davit Kirkitadze, a leader of the United National Movement, and is fully owned by businessman Tamaz Tsopurashvili. The party had opened the office before the 2012 parliamentary elections.
