The practical phase of implementing the “Trump Route” (TRIPP) project, including the start of construction works, is scheduled for 2026. This was announced by Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to a written media inquiry.

The foreign ministry noted that Yerevan is currently holding negotiations with U.S. partners to establish the legal framework and regulatory mechanisms for the project, officially titled the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity.”

The ministry also clarified that an Armenian–American joint venture, TRIPP Company, will be created to carry out the project. The company will be registered in Armenia and mandated to develop key infrastructure, including the construction and modernization of railways and highways, oil and gas pipelines, as well as the deployment of fiber-optic communication lines.
