The Salzburg Schokolade company has released the latest batch of Mirabell Mozartkugeln candies at its factory in Salzburg. The American company Mondelez has decided to move production abroad, but has not yet disclosed where exactly.

The factory in Salzburg, founded in 1897, was known for its sweets with marzipan, pistachios, nougat and chocolate, named after the famous composer who was born in this city.

Interestingly, the original chocolate recipe, created in 1890 by pastry chef Paul Furst, is still produced by the original small confectionery in Salzburg.
