The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) Board of Directors approved on Wednesday new regulated prices and tariffs for natural gas for Moldovagaz and other 12 operators.
As has already been reported by INFOTAG, Moldovagaz submitted a request to revise tariffs in January. The company presented its calculations according to which the weighted average tariff could be reduced to 13,347 lei per 1 thousand cubic meters, or by 12.5%.
The company justified the tariff revision by “a reduction in purchase prices for gas on the Dutch TTF spot, as well as a decrease in the adjusting component of the supplier’s regulated income (tariff deviations) for 2023.”
ANRE decided that the tariff for household consumers connected to low-pressure networks should be reduced from 16,730 to 13,398 lei per 1 thousand cubic meters (down 20%). Together with VAT, the tariff will be 14.47 lei per cubic meter, against 18.07 lei now.
The decision will come into force upon publication in the Monitorul Oficial.
