Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia admits he feels relief after ending his six-month goal in Wednesday’s win over Udinese.
Napoli managed to beat Udinese 4-1 at home on Wednesday’s night. Piotr Zielinski, Victor Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia, and Giovanni Simeone were all on the scoresheet.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia managed to score a goall for Napoli for the first time since March 19 of this year.
In an interview with DAZN, Kvaratskhelia said he missed the feeling of scoring goals.
He said: “Of course I missed this feeling, in football everyone can feel a bit anxious after not scoring for six months, but I am back, I am happy and glad to have helped the team.
“I think we realised that we have to keep winning, because we didn’t win after Sassuolo. With the coach we decided to play like this, we have the ball and I think we deserved the victory today.”
Napoli has 11 points after six matches in the Serie A. Kvaratskhelia was asked if they have returned to their best after this victory.
