Georgian airline Georgian Wings conducted its inaugural regular flight from Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport to Chișinău International Airport. Chisinau airport welcomed Georgian Wings with the traditional water salute. 

The first regular flight event took place at Chișinău International Airport in a festive atmosphere. Passengers were greeted by Moldovan traditions, and the registration took place against the backdrop of traditional Georgian music and activities with the support of the Georgian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova. 

The event was attended by the president of Georgian Wings, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Moldova Levan Diasamidze, representatives of Chisinau International Airport and partner companies.

According to the president of Georgian Wings, Mr. Shalva Kiknadze, Georgian Wings, the passenger line of Geosky Airlines, is launching a new route Tbilisi-Chisinau-Tbilisi with 2 frequencies per week, which will contribute to the growth of tourism between the two countries. 

After the event, a meeting was held between the parties, where they emphasized the importance of the establishment of the route and further deepening of the relations between the two countries.

 "With today's historic milestone, Georgian Wings has initiated direct flights between Georgia and Moldova, providing two weekly flights between Tbilisi and Kishinev. These flights, occurring twice a week, offer a unique opportunity to explore our cultures and strengthen ties between our countries. Moldivan tourists are very active, giving us great hope for rapid development in tourism between Georgia and Moldova," said Levan Diasamidze, Georgia's Ambassador to Moldova.

Georgian Wings will operate flights between Tbilisi and Chisinau every Thursday and Saturday, with two flights per week, as part of its regular schedule.
