Sales have surged by 200%, Anna Nadiradze, the founder of Horsetour.ge, states.

In her words, there are cases when foreigners specifically travel to Georgia for Horsetour tours, with 95% of their clientele being foreign and only 5% being Georgian.

The growth rate of demand for horse riding tours is quite high. Compared to the same period last year, the demand has doubled. The demand for multi-day tours comes mainly from European and American tourists. Our clients come from almost all countries, but mainly from Germany, Belgium, Poland and the UK. One-day and hour tours are chosen by Georgians, Arabs and Jews.

As for the regions, the greatest demand this year was for tours to Kazbegi, which, in our view, is due to proximity of the mountain region to Tbilisi.

We remain faithful to the equestrian tours industry and do not betray it, but strive for endless development," notes Ana Nadiradze.

Ana Nadiradze believes that for further development of horse tourism in Georgia the state needs to promote it more actively. In addition, it is important to increase the number of direct flights to different countries, which boost the attraction and growth of tourists.

In addition, HORSETOURS.GE is active in the foreign market, and their tours are already actively developing in several countries.

Note: horsetours.ge was created 2 years ago to develop horse riding tourism.

The goal of the startup is to digitize the industry and increase its accessibility for both consumers and service providers. Start-up won the grant competition of the Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) for 30,000 GEL.
