Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II has been taken to the clinic.
According to the reports, the Patriarch is being treated at the Caucasus Medical Center with massive bleeding from the stomach.
“Due to an unexpected complication of his health, His Holiness and Beatitude, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II is currently at the Caucasus Medical Center. His condition is critical, but stable.
We ask everyone to pray for him,” the Patriarchate said in a statement.
