The Political Council of "Georgian Dream" publishes an extensive statement, which talks about the main points for which the ruling team needs to obtain a constitutional majority in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
As emphasized in the statement, the parliamentary elections of 2024 are a kind of referendum, where the Georgian people must finally decide whether they choose Georgia's slavish dependence on external forces or whether they choose an independent and sovereign state.
"The 2024 parliamentary elections are a kind of referendum where the Georgian people must finally decide whether they choose war or peace, moral degradation or traditional values, whether they choose Georgia's slavish dependence on external forces or an independent and sovereign state, whether they choose the collective "National Movement" or "Georgian Dream".
With "Georgian Dream" gaining a parliamentary majority, the short-term, 4-year task will be successfully completed - peace, traditional values and the idea of state sovereignty will win in Georgia.
However, along with this immediate task, we have a long-term task to ensure long-term, sustainable peace and security of Georgia, which requires a high, constitutional majority by "Georgian Dream", - says the statement of the Political Council of "Georgian Dream".
