I appeal to the Government to listen to the voice of people, not to the power of people, - said the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, regarding the cancellation of the visa regime for Georgia by Russia.
According to her, she is sure that the society is united regarding this issue.
"This is not only an issue that opposes the candidate status, which concerns me, but it is, first of all, against the interests of Georgia, the dignity of Georgia.
We must know where our country stands, which is occupied, the territories of which are occupied, and which is in solidarity with our Ukrainian friends. This is our position and we must be loyal to this position. This is the request of the society and I am sure that if it happens differently and I really hope that it will not happen, the society will respond to this", said Salome Zurabishvili.
