Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze has left for the Republic of Kazakhstan for an official visit, the government administration reports.

An official welcoming ceremony for the Prime Minister of Georgia will be held at the Independence Palace of Kazakhstan. Irakli Kobakhidze will be hosted by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Meetings between the Prime Minister of Georgia and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan are planned, both in person and in an expanded format, after which memorandums of understanding on cooperation in various fields will be signed between the relevant agencies of the two countries.

As part of the official visit, a meeting of the Head of the Government of Georgia with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov will be held. Members of the Cabinets of Ministers of the two countries will participate in the meeting.

The Prime Minister of Georgia traveled to Kazakhstan with a delegation consisting of Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environment and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
