As soon as the elections are over, as soon as the war in Ukraine is over, relations with both the US and the EU will be completely reset. We have very good signals from our strategic partners, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to him, the relations will be reset sooner than it was predicted before.
"Since 2012, we have had record support. [The opposition] actually knows very well what the ratings are. We are never wrong when we talk, we never lie to people. The Georgian people have already been deceived 8 times, and "Georgian Dream" has convincingly won the elections 8 times. However, they do not have the conscience and honor to once again look into the eyes of their constituents, after they have deceived them 8 times. They lied to their supporters 8 times that they were winning the elections, but then they were not ashamed at all when they lost convincingly. This will be the 9th time when the opposition will lose this election very badly. We expect well over a million votes in this election and it will be a record number. There are several reasons for this indicator: 1. To maintain peace in our country despite severe blackmail and pressure. 2. During these four years, we increased the country's economy by 40 billion GEL. Accordingly, we reduced unemployment and poverty in this country. The average salary increased. A rating of 60% gives no reason to relax, the man in the hat must come out, every vote is equally important. We also need a constitutional majority. We have a more ambitious goal than just winning the majority. We want to get the constitutional majority in order to create maximum guarantees for the stable development of the country. That's what the man in the hat is for. If only European integration was a guarantee of peace, in this case, there would be peace in Ukraine as well. But the only guarantee of peace is dignity, sovereignty, independence and respect for all. There will be no loss of [partners]. As soon as these elections are over, as soon as the war in Ukraine is over, relations with both the US and the EU will be completely reset. We have very good signals.
