"Georgian Dream" officially nominated Irakli Kobakhidze for the post of Prime Minister. At the recently held congress, the delegates unanimously supported Kobakhidze's candidacy.
"I would like to symbolically ask all of you to express your support for the candidate for Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze. "Irakli Kobakhidze has been given full legitimacy and mandate by the congress," Irakli Gharibashvili said at the congress after being elected as the chairman of the party.
For information, the meeting of "Georgian Dream" is taking place at "Paragraph Tbilisi" hotel. The founder and honorary chairman of "Georgian Dream" Bidzina Ivanishvili is attending the party congress.
The congress was opened with the anthem of Georgia.
