If we recall Tbilisi 8 years ago and look at what our capital is like today, there is a huge difference. Today, our capital is much more developed, much greener, more beautiful, and first of all, this is the merit of the mayor of the capital, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated in his speech at the opening of the tunnel connecting University and Kavtaradze streets.

According to the Prime Minister, a plan is being prepared for the development of the capital and in four years Tbilisi will be even more developed.

"We all see how our capital is developing day by day, constantly becoming more beautiful, which makes us very happy. Today is another expression of this. A few months ago, we opened the Bagebi Bridge and this project has already made moving around this area of the city much easier, and this project also serves this very purpose, to make moving around the city as comfortable as possible for the residents of the capital. In addition, such projects contribute to the development of appropriate spaces in the city. I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the implementation of this project. First of all, thanks go to the Mayor of the capital, Mr. Kakha Kaladze, and I am sure that in the future our city will develop even more. I know that Kakha Kaladze has ambitious plans for the next four years. A very sophisticated plan is being prepared for the development of our capital and I am sure that in four years our capital will be even more developed and many such projects will be added to our capital. If we remember Tbilisi 8 years ago and look at what our capital is like today, there is a very big difference. Today our capital is much more developed, much greener, more beautiful, and first of all, this is the merit of the mayor of the capital. Once again, I would like to express my special gratitude to him," the Prime Minister said.
