"In Q4 2024, the Black Sea hotels occupancy hit its highest level at international brand hotels. In the last quarter of 2023, only one large hotel saw the average growth of 15% compared to 2024. Direct flights operated from Batumi and Kutaisi also played a role.
The main flows were recorded from the CIS countries, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Israel while growth was observed from India, Kazakhstan and China.
In October, a significant increase was reported in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023, although in October 2023 the hotel capacity dipped to record low due to the war in Israel. A significant growth was recorded in November. “In December growth was slightly higher than in 2023,” says Maya Tsereteli.
