As of July 9, the Georgian lari has strengthened against the currencies of most major trading partners. The official USD exchange rate is 2.6384 GEL, a decrease of 0.09 tetri. The euro is now at 3.0109 GEL, and the British pound sterling at 3.5238 GEL. The lari has strengthened against both currencies by 0.58 and 0.86 tetri, respectively.

"The lari gained some of its value against the Swiss franc, Turkish lira, Russian ruble, and Azerbaijani manat, while seeing a slight decline against the Armenian dram and Ukrainian hryvnia.
