According to the adjusted data, foreign direct investments (FDI) in Georgia amounted to USD 2 097.9 million in 2022 that is up 1.7 times from 2021 and up 4.9 percent from the preliminary data of 2022.
Share of the two largest investor countries in the total volume of foreign direct investments reached 38.0 percent in 2022 according to adjusted data.
The United Kingdom 20.8 percent (USD 437.0 million) tops the list of the largest FDI investors followed by Spain 17.2 percent (USD 360.5 million) and the Netherlands 9.4 percent (USD 196.2 million).
