As a result of May 8 trade, the national currency gained 0.04 tetri of its value against the US dollar, the official exchange rate was set at 1USD/ 2.4830 GEL.
The lari’s rate at commercial banks is relatively different. At TBC Bank one US dollar can be bought for GEL 2.5950 and sold for GEL 2.4950 . At Bank of Georgia one US dollar is sold for GEL 2.4750 and bought for GEL 2.5750 .
