According to the financial reports of insurance companies, in 2023 the number of insured air vehicles in Georgia stood at 84 that is 13 less than last year.
The top three insurance companies by the number of insured aircraft and collected premiums are as follows:
JSC "BB Insurance" - 63; premium of GEL 6.6 million;
JSC Unison – 14; premium of GEL 8.4 million;
JSC "Aldagi" - 3; premium of GEL 376,003;
In 9 months of 2023, companies attracted a total of GEL 12.9 million in premiums in this direction that is approximately 1.3 times more than in 2022 (GEL 9,581,606 in 9 months of 2022).
