Last year, Georgia's economy grew by 9.4%, reaching 91.9 billion GEL in current prices. The largest share of the Georgian economy falls on the trade sector with a 15% share, followed by real estate-related activities with a 9.9% share, and manufacturing with a 9.3% share.
Sakstat reports that in 2024, the education sector led in growth rate of 29.1%, contributing 4.6 billion GEL to GDP. The information and communication sector, which includes the IT sector, is the second with a growth rate of 24.3%. Public administration and defense are third with a growth rate of 17.9%.
