With the financial support of the National Wine Agency and the organization of the marketing company “Red Bridge”, Georgian wine tasting seminars will be held in various cities in Japan for wine professionals and commercial entities employed in the wine trade, and tours of Japanese wine professionals and media representatives to Georgia will be organized.

The National Wine Agency has been cooperating with the Japanese marketing company "Red Bridge" since 2017. Red Bridge is headed by Kenichi Ohashi, the only Master of Wine in Japan.

Japan is one of the strategic markets for Georgian wine in Asia, where, with the support of the National Wine Agency, the first large-scale presentation of Georgian wine took place in 2014. In subsequent years, also with the support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine companies participated in the exhibitions “Foodex Japan”, “Wine and Gourmet Japan”, “RAW Wine Tokyo”, “ProWein Tokyo”, local wine competitions, and Georgian wine presentation and tastings held in various cities in Japan.

One of the main directions of the National Wine Agency's activities is the promotion and awareness-raising of Georgian wine in international markets. In order to diversify wine markets, the Agency implements targeted advertising and marketing campaigns in the USA, Europe and Asia.
