Producer Price Index for Transportation and Storage Services increased by 1.0 percent compared to the previous month and decreased by 0.7 percent compared to March 2023;
Producer Price Index for Telecommunication Services increased by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month, while the overall annual index went up by 0.3 percent;
Producer Price Index for Accommodation and Food Services increased by 2.2 percent compared to the previous month, while the overall annual index went up by 4.5 percent.
Producer Price Index for Transportation and Storage Services increased by 1.0 percent compared to the previous month. In the mentioned period the prices increased by 4.3 percent for air transport services, while the prices for water transport services increased by 1.6 percent. Along with this, the prices increased for warehousing and support services for transportation by 1.3 percent and by 0.3 percent for land transport services and transport services via pipelines.
Compared to March 2023 the overall index decreased by 0.7 percent. In the mentioned period the prices for water transport services decreased by 39.1 percent, while for air transport services went down by 5.9 percent. Along with this, the prices for warehousing and support services for transportation increased by 3.4 percent, while the prices for land transport services and transport services via pipelines increased by 1.4 percent.
The total Producer Price Index for Telecommunication Services increased by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month. In the mentioned period the prices increased for other telecommunications services by 6.4 percent, while the prices for wired and wireless telecommunications services remain unchanged. The overall index went up by 0.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the mentioned period the prices for other telecommunications services increased by 2.5 percent. Along with this, the prices for wireless telecommunications services increased by 0.2 percent and by 0.1 percent for wired telecommunications services.
Producer Price Index for Accommodation and Food Services went up by 2.2 percent compared to the previous month. The prices increased for accommodation services by 4.3 percent, while the prices for food and beverage serving services increased by 0.4 percent.
The overall index posted a 4.5 percent increase compared to March 2023. In the mentioned period the prices increased by 7.5 percent for food and beverage serving services, while the prices for accommodation services increased by 1.6 percent.
