According to the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency, in the first six months of 2023, Georgian airports handled 2,485,263 passengers that is 45% more than in the same period of 2022 and 100% from the pre-pandemic levels.

In six months, Tbilisi International Airport served 1,566,251 passengers that is 35% more compared to the same period in 2022, and 84% from the pre-pandemic years.

Kutaisi International Airport handled 667,305 passengers that is 103% more compared to two quarters of 2022, and made 83% of the 2019 levels.

Batumi International Airport served 236,444 passengers that is 9% more compared to January-June 2022 and recovered 96% of the levels of 6 months of 2019.

In just six months (January-June), 8,556 flights were operated at Georgian airports. The number of flights increased by 29% compared with the same period of 2022, making 90% of the pre-pandemic levels.
As of July 1, 2023, 48 airlines are operating in the Georgian aviation market with flights operated to 88 destinations.
