In January-July 2023, Georgia imported 13,23 million tons of  lubricants  that is 1,17 tons or 9,7% more than in the same period of  2022 (12.06 tons), the Union of Oil Product Importers states.

In 7 months of the current year, the largest volume of lubricants was imported from Turkey - 2,79 thousand tons that is 21,1% of the total  imports. Followed by  Iran - 2,74 thousand tons (20,7%); Germany - 1,50 thousand tons (11.3%), Azerbaijan - 0.82 thousand tons (6.2%); etc.

In January-July 2023, the import of aviation oil stood at 67,1 thousand tons that is 0,5 thousand tons or 0,7% less compared to the same period of 2022 (67,6 thousand tons).

In  the reporting period, Turkmenistan accounted for 44,1% ( 29,6 thousand tons) of aviation oil imports, Azerbaijan -25,8% (17,3 thousand tons), Greece - 15,3% (10,3 thousand tons); Turkey - 10% (6,7 thousand tons), Malta- 4,8% (3,2 thousand tons).
