In January-November 2024 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 6 010.9 million, 7.9 percent higher year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total exports constituted 43.1 percent and amounted to USD 2 588.7 million, 2.1 percent higher to the same period of 2023.
In January-November 2024 ferro-alloys reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 316.3 million, or 12.2 percent of total exports. The exports of wine of fresh grapes totaled USD 261.2 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 10.1 percent. The exports of precious metal ores and concentrates, occupied the third place, standing at USD 212.6 million and constituting 8.2 percent of the total exports.
Georgia’s top 10 export commodities in January-November 2024 are as follows:
Re-export of light vehicles - $2.2 billion, an increase of 14% compared to the previous year;
Ferroalloys - $316 million, an increase of 113% over the previous year;
Spirits - $270 million, an increase of 53% over the previous year;
Wine export - $262 million, an increase of 9.2% compared to the previous year;
Precious metal ores and concentrates - $212 million, an increase of 288% over the previous year;
Mineral and fresh waters - $153 million, an increase of 26% over the previous year;
Carbonated sugary drinks - $129 million, an increase of 24% over the previous year;
Medicines - $110 million, an increase of 1% over the previous year;
Nitrogen fertilizers - $103 million, a decrease of 29% compared to the previous year;
Raw gold - $96 million, an increase of 20% over the previous year.
In January-November 2024 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 73.3 percent. The top partners were Russia (USD 510.7 million), Türkiye (USD 385.6 million) and China (USD 253.8 million).
