The value of hazelnut exports from Georgia continues to increase. In February, Georgia exported 1.7 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts, amounting to USD 19.3 million.

Compared to the same period of the previous year,  the export volume increased by 33% (an additional 407.4 tonnes), while the export value rose 2.2-fold (USD 10.4 million).



The European Union remains the primary export market for Georgian hazelnuts, with Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Greece among the key destination countries. Between  August 1, 2025, and February 28, 2026, a total of 9.9 thousand tonnes of hazelnuts were exported to EU member states.

Additionally, 944 tonnes were exported to Syria, 511 tonnes to Armenia, and 473 tonnes to Russia.
