In February, the volume of apple exports increased by 54%, while the export value rose by 86%, reaching USD 1.4 million.
On February 28, 2026, Georgia exported 4.1 thousand tonnes of apples with a total value of USD 3.1 million.
Both the quantity of exported apples and the average export price have shown a notable upward trend.
The average export price of apples stands at USD 0.73 per kilogram, which is 16% higher than the figure recorded during the same period of the previous year. In February alone, the average export price increased by 21%, reaching USD 0.76 per kilogram.
The primary export destination for Georgian apples is Russia (15,083 tonnes). In addition, 665 tonnes were exported to Turkey, 150 tonnes to Belarus, 110 tonnes to Armenia, and 44 tonnes to other countries.
