External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 9 790.9 million in January-May 2025, 13.3 percent higher year-on-year.
The value of export increased by 14.6 percent reaching USD 2 595.3 million, while the import increased by 12.8 percent and amounted to USD 7 195.6 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 4 600.3 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 47.0 percent.
