In the first 7 months of 2024, Georgia exported 57 thousand cars with a record value of $1.2 billion. Re-export of vehicles exceeds the 2023 level by 1.3%.
According to Sakstat data, like in 2023, cars worth $538 million dollars were exported (re-exported) from Georgia to Kyrgyzstan, the average price of the exported car was $36,000.
Compared to the same period of 2023, car exports from Georgia to Kyrgyzstan soared by 80% ($238 million), car exports to Kazakhstan increased by 37% ($103 million). At the same time, car exports to Azerbaijan declined by 40%, and to Armenia- by 69%.
