“The Black Sea Submarine Cable Project will significantly increase Georgia’s role in ensuring Europe’s energy security,” said Genadi Arveladze, Deputy Georgian Economy Minister in his speech at the fifth meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC), in Bucharest, Romania.
The Deputy Minister stated, “The Black Sea Submarine Cable Project is an important step towards energy security and environmental sustainability.”
“Georgia, as an EU candidate country, will use this initiative to boost its status as one of the European Union’s most essential and trusted partners. The project will significantly increase the country’s role in ensuring Europe’s energy security”, Arveladze asserted.
The Georgian delegation was invited to the meeting by the US Department of Energy, and the Romanian Ministry of Energy.
