In Q2 2024, Georgia got the largest FDI volume in the amount of 266.7 million  from the United Kingdom. As per Sakstat preliminary data, the United Kingdom accounts for 46.4% of the total FDI.

Japan ranks second in the list of the top investors - $59.2 million (10.3%), Malta is third with $37.9 million (6.6%).


According to Sakstat preliminary, the foreign direct investments (FDI) in Georgia amounted to USD 574.3 million in Q2 2024 (preliminary data), up by 10.3 percent from the adjusted data of Q2 2023. Increase in equity and debt instruments is the main reason for the growth of FDI.
