"We do our business properly and in accordance with the law," Soso Pkhakadze, Vice President of the Wissol Group, says.
Pkhakadze stresses that business is the key driver of economic growth and all dialogue should be constructive. He points out that fuel prices are tied to the lari's exchange rate and international market prices.
"We'll do what we can, but that's beside the point. We do our business properly, honestly, and legally. Always did, always will. Everything's fine, all good, no problems here."
As for fuel, we've said it a million times: it is entirely dependent on international prices and the lari's exchange rate. Higher international prices mean higher domestic fuel prices and vice versa.
"I found the meeting to be very constructive, and we discussed it. We touched upon it briefly. "One thing I know for sure: business drives the economy forward and without a strong economy, no nation can achieve success," Soso Pkhakadze stresses.
