In June, "Kula" juices will be released to the market in cans. Vano Goglidze, the founder of the canning plant, states that at the initial stage, several juice varieties will be sold into cans.
In his words, the project's investment cost will be approximately half a million dollars.
"We are in the preparation and development phase for a new product. We are presently awaiting the arrival of equipment that will facilitate the canning of juice. Our strategic plan is to sell the product in both the domestic and foreign markets. We're hoping to have the new product on shelves by spring," says Vano Goglidze.
He notes that production is consistently evolving to introduce new products to consumers adding that "Kula's" sales have grown slightly from last year and the company is focusing on international markets. Data shows that 75% of its products are sold overseas.
Recall that Gori feeding cannery Kula buys 95% of raw materials from local farmers and peasants. The company has been operating in the market since 2009 and produces environmentally friendly products. At present «Kula» has 5 factories, 4 of which are located in Gori and one in Akhaltsikhe. The company exports its products to about 30 countries worldwide.
