The ibis budget Tbilisi Center hotel in Tbilisi is sold for $16 million- real estate agencies report.
The international budget brand 2-star hotel Ibis Budget opened on Akhvlediani Street in 2022, the total cost of the project was $8.2 million.
As stated in the hotel description, it includes 158 rooms, a landscaped courtyard, walking paths and recreation areas. The total development area of the Ibis Budget hotel is 4 700 m², the building has 5 floors and is adapted for people with disabilities.
Note: Beta Group LLC purchased a non-agricultural land plot of 1 269 square meters and the buildings (with a total area of 1 938 square meters) located on it on Akhvlediani Street N22 in Tbilisi at an auction in 2017 for 5.8 million GEL.
Initially, the company had 4 shareholders: Tamaz Tavadze, Giorgi Karazanishvili, Bezhan Samkharadze and Edisher Mamaladze. For information, Edisher Mamaladze is also the managing partner of "Sakkabel" company. They owned 25-25% shares of the company. According to the latest data of the register, the company shares are distributed as follows: Nana Aroshidze (30% share), Edisher Mamaladze (17.5%), Bezhan Samkharadze (17.5%), SMC LLC (35%). The owners of SMC are Tamazi Tavadze (50%) and Giorgi Karazanishvili (50%).
