Glamping Tago is the name of a glamping complex located in the village of Tago, in the mountainous Adjara, Khulo municipality.
According to Anna Kvaratskhelia, the complex manager , demand for this kind of recreation is growing in Georgia. She notes that Glamping Tago receives orders in advance, and all facilities are already booked for October.
“Currently, we have 10 lotus-shaped tents, each can accommodate 2 adults and one child. Apart from the lotus-shaped tents, we have one Half Dome tent that functions as a hostel/dormitory and can accommodate 9 people. Beds here can be booked both individually and by a group of 9 people,” she explains.
In Anna Kvaratskhelia’s words, both local citizens and foreigners visit the gampling site.
“Among our guests are both Georgians and foreigners, mainly from European countries, Ukrainians, Belarusians and Russians living in Georgia. Glampings are very popular in the Georgian market, competition is also growing,” Anna Kvaratskhelia points out.
Speaking about the plans for the future, she says that glamping is constantly expanding and the number of tents has been increased for this season. In the future, they plan to arrange glampings in Georgia’s various regions and Tbilisi outskirts.
The cost of glamping for two persons without breakfast is on average GEL 250 during the active season.
