Data from 2021 shows that among the top 7 Georgian retail chains, Agrohub has the highest profit margin (8%), while Goodwill - the lowest (0.03%). The ranking of supermarket chains was published by FinSPOT.

Foodmart (Ioli and Spar) is the second in the list, Ori Nabiji is in the third place, followed by Nikora and Carrefour.

According to FinSPOT, retail companies have very low profit margins.

"Agrohub's net profit margin is much higher than in other retail chains due to a more diverse offer of natural products meant for the middle and upper segment. It’s impossible to do at Goodwill as the company is in the rehabilitation mode and is obliged to repay a large number of loans that has a negative affect on profitability- they say at FinSPOT.

"Nikora Trade" is the most profitable retail trade network in Georgia (GEL 651 million), followed by "Ori Nabiji" ( GEL593 million), and "Carrefour" ( million).

In terms of operating profit, Nikora, Ori Nabiji and Foodmart top the rating.
