President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen the European support package, including the schedule for the first tranche, which will be directed toward joint drone production.

Zelensky added that a plan of steps is being prepared to enable the creation of the necessary security infrastructure.

He tasked the relevant structural divisions – Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, and the Office’s diplomatic team – with preparing a detailed outline of the next steps in cooperation with the European Union.

Zelensky arrived at the European Political Community summit, which is starting in Yerevan.

This development signals Ukraine’s active push to strengthen defense cooperation and international support.
