Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after last week’s rise.

The price of April’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures exchange grew by $0.49 (0.59%) to $83.44 per barrel by 09:04. Following the trading on January 26, Brent crude futures for April rose by $0.99 (1.21%) to $82.95 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.46 (0.59%) to $78.47 per barrel by 09:04. Following the trading on January 26, the price of March’s WTI oil futures grew by $0.65 (0.84%) to $78.01 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil has risen by 6.35% and WTI oil by 6.50%.
