Baku Oxford School, a well-known private school located in Baku settlement Badamdar, has become the property of the state.
ABC.AZ reports that court's verdict regarding the confiscation of the school building was recently executed. It was estimated at 24.7 million manats.
At that, the school currently operates in the same building. And the head of the educational institution is Rasim Mammadov's wife Mehriban Mammadova.
Mammadova's husband, the former head of the Baku Steel Company Rasim Mammadov, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for corruption crimes. His criminal case notes that Baku Oxford School was built with money obtained through criminal means. In this regard, by the decision of the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, the school building was confiscated.
