14, 875.8 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through Azerbaijan’s main gas pipelines in the first eight months of 2024, down 2% year-on-year.
From January to August 2024, 56.2% of the total gas transportation was carried out through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum (BTE) pipeline- Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani’s State Statistical Committee.
Consequently, more than 26, 476.3 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through this pipeline during the reporting period, representing a 2,3 -percent decrease compared to the corresponding period in 2023.
