The number of live births in Georgia equaled 18 633 in January-June 2024. The number of deaths equaled 22 265 persons in the same period.
In the first half of 2024, the natural increase (the difference between the number of live births and the number of deaths) totaled -3 632. The positive natural increase was registered in Tbilisi (478) and Adjara A.R. (621).
In the first 6 months of 2024, the number of registered marriages equaled 9 924 and the number of divorces – 6 859.
