After negotiations, representatives of the so-called government and opposition of occupied Abkhazia signed an agreement, according to which the so-called president, Aslan Bzhania, will "resign from office". The Russian media disseminates the information based on the press service of Bzhania.
"In order to maintain stability and constitutional order in the country, I am announcing my resignation from the post of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia," Bzhania's statement reads.
Also, according to the agreement, the citizens gathered in the territory of the so-called government building complex must disperse on November 19, in case of non-fulfillment of this clause, Bzhania will refuse to "resign".
Today, the so-called parliament of Abkhazia will consider the issue of Bzhania's "resignation", and his duty will be fulfilled by the so-called vice-president Badra Gunba.
