The Georgian Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules has suspended the mandates of MPs Bidzina Ivanishvili, Irakli Garibashvili, and Mikheil Kavelashvili, the latter of whom has been nominated as a presidential candidate.

The mandates of eight lawmakers from the Georgian Dream party will be suspended pre-term. The Committee reviewed the cases of Irakli Kobakhidze, Maka Botchorishvili, Davit Songhulashvili, Anri Okhanashvili, and Mariam Kvrivishvili.

The decision will be submitted to the Bureau and presented for a vote during the plenary session.
