The situation in Georgia is deteriorating. The government controlled by Putin-backed oligarch Ivanishvili is becoming increasingly authoritarian, – British MP and Liberal Democrat politician James McCleary wrote on X.
According to him, the UK government should support pro-democracy protesters and journalists, including Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of online publications "Batumelebi" and "Netgazeti."
"The UK government must take action to support pro-democracy protesters and journalists like Ms. Amaghlobeli," the British MP wrote.
