In order to increase the export potential of Georgian wine and diversify markets, with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, during the first nine months of 2025, Georgian wine was showcased at 21 exhibitions/festivals and around 220 tastings and seminars in the United States, as well as in European and Asian countries.

During the same period, 13 wine tours were held in Georgia with the participation of foreign wine professionals. Within these tours, Georgian wines were tasted on-site by Masters of Wine, experts, sommeliers, and representatives of the commercial sector from Germany, Japan, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other countries around the world.

It is also noteworthy that within the framework of the state program for the promotion of Georgian wine products in the local market, various wine exhibitions, competitions, and festivals were held throughout Georgia. These events serve to promote Georgian wine, enhance the potential of wine tourism, and foster the development of wine consumption culture. During the reporting period, 18 exhibitions/festivals and 5 tastings/competitions were held in Georgia.

The National Wine Agency continues the state program of co-financing marketing expenses for companies exporting to various countries worldwide, excluding CIS and GUAM member states. Within the framework of this program, in 2025, a total of GEL 692,969 was allocated as co-financing to nine Georgian wine-producing companies.

The above-mentioned activities are implemented under the “State Program for the Promotion of Georgian Wine,” which in the current year amounts to GEL 17.4 million—an increase of GEL 1.4 million compared to the previous year’s budget.
