After two days of plummeting Georgian lari started this day with gaining its value. Today trading via Bloomberg trading platform has started at $ 1/ 2.6825 , by 12pm one dollar stood at GEL 2.6800.
Today trading via Bloomberg trading platform, by 12:30pm one dollar stood at GEL 2.6485.
As a result of the September 21 trade, the official exchange rate of the national currency was set at 1USD/ GEL 2.6879, 1EUR/ GEL 2.8637.
In order to stabilize the lari’s exchange rate, in the last two days, the National Bank sold $57,150,000 at the foreign exchange auction but the lari still lost some of its value yesterday.
